How did Pharaoh travel on the Nile?

The Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt had a large elaborate sail boat in which to cruise the Nile.  The boat also had oars for travel in calm conditions.
The Egyptian Pharaoh would travel in luxury on his cruises along the Nile River.

A Pharaoh’s final cruise on the Nile would be on his decorated Funeral Boat.  This would transport him along the River Nile to his tomb in a pyramid or a tomb in the Valley of the Kings.

A large boat called the Solar Boat was found buried near to the Great Pyramid to allow the Pharaoh to sail and cruise in luxury in  the After Life.
